Thank you for choosing Fax App by iApp Technologies LLP. This Privacy Policy explains how iApp Technologies LLP
and its affiliates and
service providers (collectively, "we", "us" or "iApp Technologies LLP") collect, use, disclose, and store
Personal Data and
other information when you download, install, access or use the Fax App (the "App"), including when you send or
receive faxes, buy or rent numbers, sign in with Apple, or contact support.
By using the App you acknowledge that you have read and accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with
these terms, please do not use the App.
1. Key points at a glance
- Purpose: We provide an electronic fax service (send/receive), number provisioning, document
scanning/processing, and related services.
- Main data types collected: contact and account data, device and log data,
purchase/subscription data, uploaded documents and images, usage analytics, and crash reports.
- Third-party services: We use third-party providers for fax transmission and reception,
telephony/number provisioning, and analytics (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics). We also use Apple Sign
In for authentication when you choose it.
- Data storage: User data (including uploaded documents) is stored on our cloud servers and
accessible from multiple devices tied to your account.
- Delete account: You can delete your account from the App settings or request deletion by
contacting support at iappllp650@gmail.com.
2. Scope and applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Data collected in connection with your use of the App and related online
services. It does not apply to services or websites not operated by iApp Technologies LLP. Links to or
integrations with
third-party services (for example payment processors, number providers, or cloud storage services) will have
their own privacy policies.
3. Definitions
- Personal Data: any information that identifies or can reasonably identify an individual
(for example: name, email address, phone number, device identifier).
- Processing: any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use,
disclosure, or deletion.
- Fax ID: a temporary or permanent identifier the App assigns to let you send or receive
faxes without purchasing a dedicated phone/fax number.
- Dedicated number: a phone/fax number you purchase or rent via the App to receive inbound
faxes.
- Service Providers / Processors: companies we work with to provide core functionality (fax
gateways, telephony providers, cloud storage, analytics providers).
4. Personal Data we collect and why
4.1 Data you provide directly
We collect information you actively provide when using the App:
- Account information: name, email address, display name, password (if applicable),
authentication tokens (e.g. from Apple Sign In).
- Billing & purchase information: payment method details (billing address, purchase history,
subscription status and invoices) handled by Apple.
- Fax recipients and metadata: recipient fax numbers, recipient names, sender names and cover
letter text.
- Uploaded content: documents, photos, images and scanned files you upload, create or edit in
the App.
- Phone numbers and purchased numbers: numbers you buy or rent through the App and numbers
you provide for verification or contact purposes.
- Support correspondence: messages, email content and attachments you send to our support
email or via in-app feedback.
4.2 Data collected automatically
- Device & technical data: device model, OS version, unique identifiers, network info, App
version, language.
- Log data & IP addresses: activity logs, IP address, timestamps, crash logs, and event data.
- Usage analytics: events, feature usage, time spent in-app, and purchase events.
- Cookies and tracking: used for analytics or login (with consent where required).
- Geolocation (derived): approximate country/region from IP address.
4.3 Data from third parties
- Identity or authentication providers: data from Apple Sign In.
- Payment processors: payment confirmations and billing details.
- Telephony/number providers: for provisioning and routing numbers.
5. How we use your Personal Data
- To provide and maintain fax sending/receiving, number provisioning, document storage.
- Billing, subscriptions, and refunds.
- Account management and Apple Sign In.
- Support, communications, and notifications.
- Analytics, app improvement, and crash reporting.
- Fraud prevention and legal compliance.
6. Sharing and disclosure of Personal Data
We do not sell your Personal Data. We may share it with:
- Service providers (fax gateways, storage, analytics, payments, etc.).
- iApp Technologies LLP employees/contractors who need access.
- Legal authorities when required by law.
- In case of business transfers or mergers.
7. Retention of data
We retain data as long as necessary to provide services, comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce
agreements. Uploaded documents remain until deleted or your account is closed.
8. Your choices and controls
8.1 Account management and deletion
You can delete your account via Settings → Account → Delete Account or email us at iappllp650@gmail.com.
Deleted data may remain in backups for up to 90 days.
8.2 Portable copies and exports
You may request a data export by emailing iappllp650@gmail.com.
8.3 Opting out of analytics
You can disable advertising IDs or Firebase Analytics tracking in your device settings.
8.4 Communication preferences
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails. Transactional emails are required for service operation.
9. File formats, sending and receiving faxes
- Supported file types: PDF, DOC/DOCX, JPG, PNG, TIFF, HTML.
- Combine multiple documents into a single fax.
- Includes document scanner and image enhancement tools.
- Dedicated numbers allow inbound fax reception.
- International fax sending available to 80+ countries.
10. Payments, credits and fax billing
- Sending faxes consumes credits or subscription allowances.
- Insufficient credits will queue or block transmission.
- Receiving may incur charges based on routing provider.
- Refunds are handled by Apple; contact iappllp650@gmail.com for
disputes.
11. Security
We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and third-party security tools. No system is fully secure; if you
suspect compromise, contact us immediately.
12. Children’s privacy
The App is not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. Contact us for removal if
necessary.
13. International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country. We implement safeguards such as data processing agreements.
14. Third-party services and links
We integrate with telephony, fax, cloud, analytics, and payment providers, each with their own privacy policies.
